1-99 Mining Guide
To be completed/worked on when other guides are finished.
Getting Started - Supplies
First off, you'll need a pickaxe for every set of 10 levels you'll gain. Starting with bronze, and working your way up to rune. All types of pickaxes can be found in the dwarven mine north of Falador, west of Barbarian village. Going down the ladder, you'll want to run to the first pathway that leads right, and then go all the way down until you get to another pathway that goes right. Find the dwarf in blue and trade him. Buy the appropriate pickaxes you'll need, and to save time (if you have the money), go ahead and buy all the different types of pickaxes. This shop sells up to rune (the highest), so therefore you won't have to player trade anyone to buy one when you get to that level. You might have to world hop though in order to find a shop that carries one, as the respawn time for 1 rune pickaxe can take up to 2 hours!
Levels 1-10
First off, mining tin and copper at levels 1-10 is not the best idea, as people will always be stealing your ores. Instead, you'll want to complete the quest Rune Mysteries, which is a very easy quest that is F2P. From there, you'll want to situate yourself in Varrock West Bank. Then teleport via ______ in the rune shop to the rune essence mine. From there, you'll want to bank all the rune essence you'll mine from the giant ____. The best part about this is that nobody can steal your ore, and this is semi-afk'able. You can also make profit from this, but not a considerable high amount to say in this guide. You should use them for Runecrafting instead.
Levels 10-20
Mining copper and tin ore. I suggest any area that isn't populated by many people. For this guide purpose, I'll use the mining pit south-east of Varrock as an example. You'll want to mine a full inventory of tin, and then a full inventory of copper, OR 14 tin and 14 copper an inventory. Bank these as they will be used in the 1-99 Smithing Guide.
